While browsing through FB I noticed that a salong out in California had mentioned that they donated old towels to “Blankets of Love”. I looked further into it to find out what this was all about.

“Operation Blankets of Love (OBOL) is an award-winning non-profit 501(c)3 public charity. We collect, transport and distribute recycled and new pet-related items to comfort stray, sick, neglected and abused homeless animals in shelters, rescue groups, sanctuaries and foster groups. In addition, as an Emergency Response Team, we partner with those organizations to provide relief and comfort to animals that are displaced or endangered by catastrophe.”

Blankets of Love is located in LA, but I am sure that local shelters here on the island would take any, and all blankets and towels as a donation.  Salons go through so many towels.  You use them so often they start to get bleached out, or begin to fray…instead of throwing them out, do some good and donate them to help these poor little animals!

It doesn’t cost any money, and it will make you feel really good!
